Medisim Ltd. was founded in 1995 by a group of professionals in the fields of physics, engineering and medicine. Combining their know-how into extensive multidiscipline research, the company invented a novel method for determining accurate core-body temperature in a swift and non-invasive way. This entirely new concept named R.A.T.E. ® (Rapid, Accurate Temperature Establishment), surprised the medical world and positioned Medisim as one of the leading sources for precise temperature determination tools and created a new category – high-speed conductive thermometers for forehead measurement.

Main Milestones

• 1997 – Pioneers in launching the category of high-speed conductive thermometers.
• 2003 – The first to discover the need  to identify non-invasive conductive surface measurement devices.
• 2005 - The first solution for conductive forehead measurement devices
• 2007 – Continuous innovation of non-invasive core-body temperature establishing devices for the world medical industry.
• 2009 - Incorporation of Medisim USA Inc. subsidary.

Aims and Goals

With the branching out into various other medical fields, Medisim continues to   develop a new generation of non-invasive thermometers and innovative applications aiming to excel in three main areas:

• Developing and manufacturing sophisticated medical devices for the consumer healthcare market, while getting closer to its customers in the market place.
• Advancing R&D in the professional field, inventing new creative methods for accurate diagnosing of body temperature while saving time and money in hospitals and clinics.
• Medical applications based on temperature/heat transfer.

Medisim USA,Inc was established in 2008 in order to get closer to and better serve our US based customers. Reporting to the parent organization, Medisim, Ltd., we provide the voice of the
customer and consumer in order to help direct future developments.
